La Perla unveiled a pop-up exhibition at Petrovsky Passage on March 17. On display – the exclusive Archive capsule collection.
Yasmina Muratovich, Angelika Timanina, Milana Pich, Anna Snatkina, Irina Yovovich, Ekaterina Volkova, Inna Malikova, Konstantin and Olga Andrikopoulos, Lipa Teterich, Svetlana Abramova, and other celebrities were present at the exhibition opening.
The ’80s was an era that was a tipping point in underwear trends, where the lines between innerwear and outerwear blurred. For many, it was a decade of self-expression and, more specifically, a period where women embraced lingerie to empower themselves, with fashion icons like Madonna and Cher. They each wore La Perla for their respective music videos and single covers.
The Archive capsule collection includes such notable items as a Lycra V-neck body and fitted jacquard corset that can be worn both as underwear and as outerwear. The most provocative item is the completely translucent set of jumpers made from jacquard lace and silk satin. Two elegant dresses offer a stark contrast to this model: the classic black satin slip dress with jacquard lace details and the one-shoulder silk dress.
Naturally, Archive also features exquisite accessories in the style of the 1980s, including a Lycra and jacquard lace headband made from various pieces of fabric.
The capsule collection is available exclusively at La Perla Boutique at Petrovsky Passage and GUM. The exhibition closes on April 30.
