Beyond Time: Handmade Carpet Show by BoscoCasa and Tapis Rouge
Petrovsky Passage showcases an exhibition of a collection of handmade carpets from BoscoCasa and Tapis Rouge on Line 2.
The limited collection of contemporary handmade carpets by Per Sempre is inspired by the creativity of the great Italian masters and the unusual ideas of modern designers. Each element of the joint signature collection is the embodiment of the cultural heritage of Italy which is represented by seven carpets united under the name Per Sempre / Beyond Time, created specifically for the unique BoscoCasa space at Petrovsky Passage.
The Per Sempre carpet collection by BoscoCasa and Tapis Rouge is a combination of fine lines and complex colors, inspired by sophisticated and sensual images of women in Renaissance Italy,p. Sublime and romantic names are inspired by the images of the beloved women of Italian poets Dante Algieri, Giovanni Boccaccio, and Francesco Petrarca — Fiametta, Beatrice, Biancafiore, Laura, Mesola, Maria, Griseida.
Creating a carpet is a complex process that reflects the artistic concept of a designer and a master craftsman; in that sense, it has much in common with the production of prêt-à-porter clothes. Tapis Rouge's in-depth knowledge of natural materials and years of experience in making carpets are representative of Nepal's rich heritage. The brand offers customers superior quality items. In creating each carpet, special attention was paid to the use of exquisite natural materials: silk, cotton, flax. The carpets, hand-woven in an ancient weaving technique by talented craftsmen from Nepal, artfully transform any canvas of textures, color palettes, and mosaics into a single sensual journey.
See you at Petrovsky Passage!
