PTO et CONTRA” ballet show. The ballet “Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA” is the result of many years of the choreographer’s insight of the great composer’s personality and creative work. The first ballet "Tchaikovsky" was released in 1993. Today he offers a new original plastic statement - "Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA». Boris Eifman: "I had several reasons to hark back to the performance about Tchaikovsky. For the first time I put it in 1993. It was the time of perestroika, the euphoria of freedom & permissiveness. It was the performance created by a man who enjoyed the freedom of ideas, and therefore, I was not able to understand the tragedy of Tchaikovsky to the full extent. Many years on, I wanted to return to my favorite composer, to once again delve into his life at a new creative and technological stage of our theater development and a new stage of my own development. It is nice that the Chereshnevy Les has once again allowed to show my new performance to Moscow public, which I love and to which I am grateful for the years of our friendship".
