Sublime by Bosco: Fashion on Quarantine. No Pasáran!
We are continuing our series of live broadcasts — Fashion on Quarantine. No Pasáran! Join us on May 6, 18:00, @sublime_ru and@bosco_di_ciliegi. Sublime by Bosco Watch Division Head Olga Batsyleva will talk about interesting facts fr om the history of watchmaking and will showcase watches that reflect current trends.
What does the square-shaped casing of the Cartier watch have in common with Parisian streets as seen from a bird’s-eye view? How can you alter the appearance of a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch with just a flick of your hand? What is the connection between the Chanel watch and the legendary Chanel No. 5? Olga Batsyleva will answer these and many other questions during the live broadcast.
Watches have already become the “secret code” that uncovers the social status of their wearers. A classy expensive watch represents connections between generations. Just as in the world of fashion, watchmaking is governed by trends. Sublime by Bosco presents the main trends for watches. Returning to iconic models is one such trend. The legendary Santos de Cartier with their square casing and Panthere de Cartier that are able to change to fit the curve of your hand are the absolute must-haves of the season. Another icon is the Chanel watch, the face of which was designed under the leadership of Karl Lagerfeld. The watch reminds one of Chanel No. 5 bottles, while the bracelet of the watch was inspired by the chain for the famous 11.12 bag.
Universality and the ability to quickly change straps are trends that reflect the rhythm of modernity. Do note the Rendez-Vous collection by Jaeger-LeCoultre. A single watch can be transformed with just a flick of the hand! By day you’re wearing a military-style canvas strap, by night – a bracelet decorated with gemstones.
This season there is no need to lim it yourself to a single color. The latest trend is Mix&Match! Be bold and combine yellow and white gild in a single accessory or watch.
Don’t forget about the presents! The mechanical table clock from the Atmos collection by Jaeger-LeCoultre – a perfect representation of the 1940s aesthetic — is an ideal piece for your study, dining room, or living room.
