The prints from the new collection by Paul Smith are notable for bold combinations of styles and colors – a hallmark for the brand’s designers.
Looking around his London office, Paul Smith was inspired by the fact that an old copy of The Face can be set next to a book dedicated to the work of Dutch masters. This stylistic clash is well represented in the New Masters prints: Dutch flower patterns are mixed with murky photo prints, animalistic elements – with bold fonts.
The prints are a sort of reflection on the large-format Interview magazine by Andy Warhol.
The collection is already available at Paul Smith Boutiques (Petrovsky Passage, GUM, Vesna on New Arbat)!
