Pomellato won two prestigious awards
On March 15th, Pomellato brand was awarded in two categories within the first ceremony of the Town & Country Jewelry Award, held in the Hearst Tower in New York. The award, established jointly with the Saks Fifth Avenue department store, is presented for the outstanding contribution to the jewelry art.
The nominations included Legend of the Year, Red Carpet of the Year, Collection of the Year, Gems of the Year, Philanthropists of the Year, High Jewelry Art and others. The jury featured prominent journalists, Sotheby's & Christie's representatives and venerable collectors.
The executive director of Pomellato, Sabina Belly rose to the stage for the "Jeweler of the Year" award as one of the few women heading the large jewelry brand. It is Belly who is behind the project PomellatoForWomen, launched in the spring of 2017 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the brand.
Pomellato also won the Saks Luminary Award as an innovative brand that revolutionized jewelry art. This award was presented by Mark Metric, the President of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Founded in 1967 in Milan, Pomellato became the first world brand that introduced prêt-à-porter jewelry. Pomellato collections are famous for their recognizable design and colorful gems.
