Panerai: see-through
Panerai released a new version of Lo Scienziato, one of the most innovative and amazing creations of the brand. The watch has a 3D titanium case made using direct metal laser sintering technology (DMLS). Introduced in 2016, they are available in the new version now. Blue shade of the hands, which matches the metallic tint of the titanium case, is also used in the flange design and in the stitching of the black leather strap, which makes the model look even more sporty.
The new model is incredibly light, which is surprising, given the variety of functions: hour, minute and small second counters, GMT function with AM / PM indication, six day power reserve and its indicator on the case back, tourbillon trigger.
The model is very light due to the skillful craftsmen’s work: they managed to reduce the weight of the case and the P.2005 / T caliber significantly. The 47 mm Luminor 1950 case is made of titanium - a corrosion-resistant material that is about 40% lighter than steel.
Due to the absence of the traditional dial all its elements like hour indices, are fixed directly on the movement or on the flange of the watch.
Totally transparent case allows to admire the fascinating work of the springs and gears of this complex and perfect movement!
The model can be ordered in Sublime by BOSCO. See you!
