"Simon Boccanegra" at the Bolshoi Theatre


On September 13th Moscow audience applauded to the unsurpassed soloists of La Scala troupe, who took the stage of the Bolshoi with the opera "Simon Boccanegra" within the tour program of the Milan theater.
The production showed at the Bolshoi Theatre within the autumn session of the Open Arts Festival "Chereshnevy Les" was a resounding success and caused a storm of emotions not only among the venerable theater-goers but also among ordinary opera fans.

The concert of Italian music featuring music by Luigi Cherubini - Concert Overture in G Major and D Major Symphony, the fragment from the Verdi’s opera "The Sicilian Vespers" and the Overture to the Gioacchino Rossini’s opera "William Tell" will also be held within the tour.
