Omega launches a watch to help visually impaired children
OMEGA presents a model from the new 38mm Speedmaster collection, created to support the brand's partnership with Orbis International.
OMEGA Speedmaster Orbis 38 mm watch features stainless steel case and bezel with a tachymeter scale on a blue aluminum ring. The blue dial with radial polishing includes horizontal, light-blue oval counters and a vertical oval date window at "6 o'clock" position. The watch is added with a stainless steel bracelet and
equipped with OMEGA 3330 coaxial movement.
The part of the proceeds from the sale of the Speedmaster Orbis 38 mm watch will go to the needs of the Orbis International Foundation, thanks to which doctors provide ophthalmologic help and make operations for visually impaired children from low-income families in over 90 countries of the world.
The case back of the new Speedmaster Orbis 38 mm and the counterweight of the blue central second hand has an image of a teddy bear: Omega supplies Orbis with such toys for the young patients.
Presley Gerber, the son of the long-time Omega face, supermodel Cindy Crawford, starred for the campaign to support the new watch .
