Playing cat & mouse with MOSCHINO
The expression "gray mouse" has acquired a new shade in the fashion world thanks to the tireless provocateur, enfant terrible and creative director of Moschino Jeremy Scott.
Apparently, being inspired by "Tom and Jerry," he created incredibly ironic "Rat-à-Porter" capsule collection, elicited by funny cartoon characters.
Fashionable mice appear on knitwear, T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags and iPhone cases together with the slogans “Couture is an attitude, It's not a price point”. For the first time, parts’ overlapping is interspersed with multicolored prints and jacquard graphics.
The original effect of "craft paper bag" is created on T-shirts and tops with 2D sleeves using sewn decorative "hands" as well as leather handbags with metal chains.
Accessories are about backpacks and shopper bags with stylish mice & rats and originally designed Moschino inscription, shoulder bag in the form of a trash can, and also iconic iPhone cases with a piece of cheese and a mousetrap.
Jeremy Scott added the collection with #rataporter hashtag and "When the cat's away, the (Moschino) mice will display!" slogan.
Articles from "Rat-à-Porter" capsule collection can already be purchased in Moschino boutiques in GUM and Petrovsky Passage prior to FW season.
