On May 31, Bosco di Ciliegi celebrated the company’s 30th anniversary, the 20th anniversary of the Cherry Forest Open Art Festival, and the 10th anniversary of the Oleg Yankovsky “Artistic Discovery” Prize at the Grand Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
The Great Hall also hosted a grand opera gala in two parts. To join the celebrations, one of the greatest modern opera singers and conductors Plácido Domingo came to Moscow.
BoscoCeremony at Petrovsky Passage offered several clothing options for the performers, both for the Oleg Yankovsky Prize award ceremony and the BoscoJubilee concert.
Plácido Domingo, Vladimir Spivakov, Aida Garifullina, Denis Matsuev, Ildar Abdrazakov, Vasily Ladyuk, Dmitry Korchak visited Petrovsky Passage on the eve of the celebrations to try on elegant clothing pieces for their performances.
Aida Garifullina performed in a sparkling piece by British designer Jenny Packham, while she accepted her award, wearing an elegant gown by Carolina Herrera.
World-famous opera singer Plácido Domingo appeared on stage in a Tombolini dress suit and a tuxedo by the well-known Neapolitan brand Isaia.
Mariinsky Theatre artist, winner of several Grammy Awards Ildar Abdrazakov selected Tombolini tuxedos and a Lardini suit for his performances.
The singers were accompanied by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia headed by Vladimir Spivakov. The maestro appeared on stage wearing a Tombolini dress suit and an Isaia tuxedo.
Famous opera singers Vasily Ladyuk and Dmitry Korchak performed in elegant tuxedos by Lubiam and Tombolini.
