Beauty is Nuanced: Lecture at the GUM Frette Boutique
On April 20, David Mardashev, luxury goods expert, gave a lecture on décor nuances and bedroom interiors at the Frette Boutique.
During the lecture, the guests of Frette Boutique learned a lot of interesting facts about the roots of the esteemed Italian brand, tested its identity, and also received several hints on adding color while decorating the bedroom.
Each Frette collection is a genuine home textile masterpiece. The new sensual Lifestyle collection is no exception. Minimalistic or ornamental, linear or romantic, the design elements in the collection are balanced to perfection. The collection features three geometrical bases: a line, a diagonal, a rhombus. Embodied in jacquard, dentelle, or embroidery, they create numerous tonalities, each with its rhythm. One of the key ornaments is the traditional geometrical herringbone pattern that is used on bedlinen sets and posh silk items.
The sizeable 150 SM store at GUM encapsulates the company concept – life in Frette style – the luxury of home and hearth – to the maximum. The “screens” – stained-glass decorative panels with geometric patterns – constitute the main accent for setting style; they add comfort and intimacy to the space where you would immediately feel like staying a little longer.
Frette Boutique on Line 3 of GUM offers collections of beautiful bedlinen, home and dinner textile, homewear including kid’s lines, and interior design décor. We look forward to seeing you at Frette, GUM!
