This season the creative director of the Brooks Brothers women’s line Zac Posen travels with his collection from the white sand beaches of Hyannis to the center of Barnstable, all located in Massachusetts.
The designer was inspired by the peaceful dunes of the Hamptons shoreline, the long sunny beach vacation days and nights of the hot summer.
By playing around with proportions and constructs, the collection has attained timeless style and practicality. The color palette is based on the classic American combination of red, white, and blue elaborated through the addition of faded colors, Chambray blue, and seashell light pink.
For this spring season, the designer offers luxurious textures and bold patterns: tweed jackets and dresses, pink-white cotton decorated with vintage precious stones and embroidery, exquisite tunics, and pink linen with thin stripes.
Accessories include canvas crossbody bags with leather handles, large bracelets and necklaces, woven stripped sandals, light loafers and flats.
