IWC: cherished dream of a little boy
Each year the IWC Schaffhausen manufactory launches a special limited series of watches. Part of the proceeds from the sale aims to support children and adolescents from socially deprived population groups. Therefore, Da Vinci Chronograph Edition Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, which can already be found in Sublime by BOSCO, is the brightest representatives of the new Da Vinci collection. The back cover of the new model is decorated with an offbeat engraving: a drawing of a Chinese boy – the winner of the international contest of children's drawings.
Despite the limited moving abilities, Kho Ye - a 12-year-old from Shanghai, does not give up and takes active part in Special Olympics of the East Asia. The boy drew himself creating his new personal record in ski racing with a happy smile on his face.
An extra internal dial of the stainless steel chronograph indicates minutes and hours. The complex movement of the manufactory caliber 89361 with a 68-hour power reserve is activated by the automatic IWC winding system. The model features 3 bar water resistance and fly-back function: the pressing of one multifunction button enables three functions at once - you can start, stop or reset the readings of the chronograph.
The saturated navy blue dial of the watch is enclosed in 42mm case. Black Santoni alligator leather strap fits perfectly thanks to the new movable clasps with curved staples.
