ETRO Lombardy Gourmet Weeks at Bosco Café, Petrovsky Passage
Fr om October 25 to November 7, as part of the Home Kitchen/Fashion House Kitchen Festival at Bosco Café, Petrovsky Passage, ETRO Fashion House launches Lombardy Kitchen Weeks.
In early October, Bosco Cafe at Petrovsky Passage initiated a large-scale Home Kitchen/Fashion House Kitchen Festival. Eminent Italian designers will be bringing their favorite chefs during their visits to Moscow. Customers of Bosco Café will have a chance to try the favorite dishes of the designers and get immersed in the cuisine of different regions of Italy.
On October 25, as part of the festival, the creative director of ETRO fashion House – Veronica Etro, and her long-time friend Milano Vincenzo Mazzone, the chef of the famous Milan restaurant Bice, will be in Moscow.
A native of the southern region of Puglia, Vincenzo Mazzone, after graduating from the Armando Perotti Institute for Hotel Management, started his culinary training in the kitchens of the prestigious Costa Smeralda hotels. In 1982, Vincenzo moved to Milan and started working at Bice Milano. Having studied the traditions of Lombard and Tuscan cuisine, as well as the traditions of his native Puglia, he was able to masterfully combine these elements in his.
Chef Mazzone's style is in a unique way of cooking, which allows preserving the original taste of the products. Particular attention is paid to pastry recipes and making fresh pasta. The simplicity of Vincenzo Mazzone's cuisine and the sincerity of his cooking for many years have been appreciated by outstanding personalities from the world of fashion, politics, and show business. In 2000, he organized the iconic Convivio dinner hosted by Franca Sozzani. Vincenzo also worked for ten years with the Acqua Marina restaurant in Porto Cervo, wh ere he managed the kitchen and personally selected food suppliers.
Especially for Bosco Cafe, Vincenzo Mazzone, and the chef of Bosco Cafe Davide Corso have developed a menu that displays the gastronomic traditions of Lombardy region and the favorite dishes of designer Veronica Etro. Beef tartare with Grana Padano and truffle, fritto misto, ravioli nero, risotto with porcini mushrooms and truffle, Mediterranean style seabass, beef medallions with green pepper sauce, and pasticcio crema for dessert — this is the gastronomic world of ETRO!
