New Moschino capsule: Oh, those eyes!
Moschino introduces new Moschino Eyes capsule. This is the collaboration of creative director of the brand Jeremy Scott and his close friend Ben Frost. The ironic, rebellious spirit of the brand playing with fashion, is combined with the original vision of the Australian artist, who, due to the recognizable comics-like images he creates, is nicknamed "Australian Roy Lichtenstein".
The fusion of fashion, pop art and cartoon style gave birth to the series of bright graphics and prints. Images of MoCola soda, colored candies and drops made up a motley collage with inscriptions taken from wrappers of sweets, labels of corn flakes and instructions to pills.
They are complemented by women's crying faces close-up made in Frost's signature style. The message is that genuine feelings are hidden behind the flat cartoon characters’ innocence guise. The ruthless criticism of the ubiquitous ads, commercials and commercialized society is behind all this ostentatious brightness.
The capsule is about T-shirts, sweaters, jersey dresses and knitwear, as well as accessories like belt bags, backpacks, shoppers & cross-bodies along with sneakers, wallets, baseball caps and iPhone cases.
