A new advertising campaign for the autumn-winter collection 2017/2018, which Ermanno Scervino fashion house has introduced recently, is a meeting of excellence. The main part was given to the fatal beauty, the titled Italian top model Mariacarla Boscono, whose credential includes shootings for Chanel, Moschino, Etro, Escada, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana.
Mariacarla and her companion Victor Norlander stroll along the banks of the Seine. The cloudy sky, the deserted pavement, the foggy outlines of the roofs and the weightless Parisian bridges across the river are reminiscent of the scene from a black and white movie about love, in which the protagonists of the new collection play brilliantly.
"The muse I imagined creating this collection is strong and independent. She gravitates to a la garçon style and prefers shoes without heels & weightless dresses, setting a new idea of femininity. Mariacarla is the perfect embodiment of this image. I had no doubts about the photographer. I chose Peter Lindberg, with whom I have been working for many years, we understand each other without words," - Ermanno Scervino said.
Yin and yang, male and female come together in a harmonious union of the new collection. The military style is softened by the refined sensuality: oversized coats are elegantly strapped at the waist, feminine lace dresses make up a tandem with parkas and bulky military boots.
Classic prints are borrowed from the holy of holies of any gentleman – man’s suit: Prince of Wales check and chalk strips are interpreted in elegant elongated overcoats. The strict company of black, gray, cold lavender and military green is broken by the delicate shades of pink and ivory.
The play of light and shadow, black and white, muscularity and femininity - the advertising campaign Ermanno Scervino FW 2017/2018 will be published in June 2017.
