Bosco Di Ciliegi – Partner of the 30th Kinotavr Open Russian Film Festival
Bosco di Ciliegi became an official partner of the 30th Kinotavr Open Russian Film Festival. This year the festivities will take place at the Bosco Cinema , a place for socializing, leisure, concerts, and elegant cocktail parties.
The 30th Kinotavr Open Russian Film Festival will take place on June 9-16, 2019. The leading national movie event is an open independent platform for Russian movie makers. Each year it presents the finest films – fr om author’s projects and experimental cinema to genre films and movies with high viewer ratings.
One of the most beautiful buildings of Sochi, its landmark – the Harbor Station – has been the Bosco di Ciliegi residence for quite a while now. The building constructed in the Stalinist Empire style is a place that attracts Sochi residents and the guests of the city; it is a place that houses most of the key Bosco brands.
During Kinotavr, the Harbor Station will become a unique meeting place for the participant of the film festival, wh ere they would discuss film-making. Bosco di Ciliegi will create a special space and ambiance at the Bosco House. The official opening ceremony of the festival will take place on June 9, at the Winter Theater. Odessa by Valery Todorovsky will be shown at the ceremony.
After the screening, guests will proceed to the Festival Launch Party. The sensational Gogol Center’s performance of the Our Alla directed by Kirill Serebrennikov will be the crowning moment of the evening.
A public-talk featuring producer and TV-presenter Mikhail Kozyrev and journalist and film critic Anton Dolin will be held on June 14; they will discuss two films about music legends – Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody. The participants of the public-talk will be comparing the films, their scripts, settings, and production. They will also talk about the musical legacy of the main characters.
The presentation of Fyodor Bondarchuk’s The Invasion will take place on June 15 at the Cosmopolitan Magazine Brunch. Guests will meet the director and the producers of the film, as well as with the lead actors – Alexander Petrov and Irina Starshenbaum. The Bosco Cinema produced an exclusive Missed You teaser trailer to promote the upcoming movie. The teaser was directed by Alexander Molochnikov, who also performed one of the roles in the film. The cast included some of Bosco’s friends: Alexander Oleshko, Ksenia Sobchak, Pavel Tabakov.
