BOSCO Ball in St. Petersburg
On Sunday evening, December 24th, when Christmas is celebrated in Europe, the hearts of the two Russian capitals, Moscow and St. Petersburg, beat to the rhythms of the fairy-tale ballet The Nutcracker. The glitterati of Moscow gathered at the Bolshoi Theater for a ball-masquerade and the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg hosted BOSCO Ball conduct in the format of a chamber party.  Swell society of the Northern Capital was among the guests. According to the tradition, festive mood was set right at the doorstep: the guests were greeted by ladies and gentlemen dressed according to the fashion of the middle of the XIX century.
Live music sounded in the lobby of the theater. Festive ambience was created by the fabulously decorated Christmas tree and the protagonists of the evening - the young Masha and the Nutcracker.
Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker, staged by Nacho Duato, became a farewell of the choreographer to Russia. A surprise was prepared for the guests at the end of the evening: they were invited to step up the Mikhailovsky Theater stage to feel the Christmas magic of the most fabulous performance.
