The new Blancpain Quantième Complet 8 Jours features italic Arabic numerals instead of the Roman ones. They make the enamel dial look even more elegant. The 42 mm case is made of red gold. It hides the self-winding movement on the basis of Caliber 6639, which includes 379 components.
In addition to the function of tracking month duration & a leap year according to the Gregorian calendar without the need for adjustment until the year 2100, the movement also "manages" the rotation of a small second hand on the counter and a large moon phase indicator at the "6" clock position.
Patented Blancpain branded adjusters are under the lugs of the case. Being invisible when the watch is put on a wrist, they allow to adjust the date and moon phase without a special tool.
The watch features a strap of a chocolate-brown alligator leather or a gold bracelet with a branded mille mailles weaving.
The collection is available in the boutique of the brand in Petrovsky Passage.
