On April 14th, the spring BOSCOSFASHIONWEEK was rounded off by BOSCOFAMILY art-show at VESNA in Novy Arbat. Ksenia Sobchak, Yulia Peresild, Renata Litvinova, Andrey Bartenev, Kristina Orbakaite, Dmitry Khrustalev, Elena Zakharova, Nikita Efremov, Maria Zheleznyakova, Konstantin Kryukov, Aglaya Tarasova, Anzhelika Kashirina, Alina Topalova, Alla Sigalova, Zhenya Malakhova, Sophie Eliseeva, Oksana Rim, Alisa Grebenshchikova and others come to see the latest fashion trends through the modern art prism.
Famous French street art artist Romain Froquet created the scenery for the defile right before the eyes of the audience.
Modern art and fashion have closely intertwined recently, and every look of the defile, held against the graffiti background, has become a kind of art object.
Acid shades are taken from Andy Warhol, prints in the form of sprayed colors are in the style of Jackson Pollock, huge frills are like generous brushstrokes of Jean-Michel Basquiat, contrasting color blocks are as if from Mark Rothko paintings. Styles and prints are mixed just like in contemporary art, demonstrating how bright and creative the fashion of this summer can be.
The main trend is street-style, of course: the models presented loose trousers in tandem with oversize shirts, long tank-shirt dresses with bulky wind-breakers, Bermuda shorts with mini-skirts and classic breeches with sweatshirts. Offbeat, bright & fresh- you can afford bold experiments with style this summer and BOSCOFAMILY will help to choose the look to reflect your personality.
The show featured such brands as MSGM, Dondup, MO & Co, Re / Done, Tibi, DKNY, Diane von Furstenberg.
The limited collection of 400 T-shirts with fashion print by Romain Froquet & VESNA logo was launched especially for the show in VESNA. Money from the sale of T-shirts were transferred to the charitable foundation "Galchonok" (Yong Jackdaw), which helps kids with organic lesions of the central nervous system.
