Spanish motifs from Alberta Ferretti
Most of the designers are vying with each other about the new sensuality. Just few manage to express it - except for Alberta Ferretti, of course. Interpreting passion in the language of fashion, the designer showed woman's power in her perception. Sensuality and romance go hand in hand in her SS collection: the self-confident woman is attractive thanks to her inner force, and she is perfectly aware of it.
"Creating this collection, I wanted to add passion to my creative narrative. Instinctively, I presented my vision of femininity, created characters who are not afraid to emphasize their femininity. They attract attention because they are free, they are multifaceted & self-confident " - Alberta Ferretti says.
Alluring cuts, bare shoulders, scoop necklines, accent on the waist; translucent fabrics, exquisite lace, an abundance of flounces and frills, multi-layered skirts and embroidery – Spain with its flamenco dancers is felt. Or it is the new Carmen.
The collection is based on contrasts. Ultra-feminine dresses are combined with men's cut pants and blazers. Weightless kimonos with embroidered sleeves, airy chiffon dresses are dressed over trousers made of shiny shantung silk. Long flowing chiffon dresses are tied round by bulky leather straps. Jacquard jackets and trousers look perfect with delicate organza tops. Even classic "Mia Mules” look a bit Oriental thanks to floral embroideries and glass beads.
The collection is in-store. See you in the boutiques of the brand in GUM, Petrovsky Passage, VESNA & St. Petersburg.
